THE LEGAL SERVICES ACT 2007
AKA ‘TESCO’S LAW’
The possibilities created by the Legal Services Act 2007, which came into effect on 6 October 2011, are to be welcomed in terms of consumer choice and the potential for reduced fees
It is thought that banks and supermarket chains will enter the legal market offering Will-writing services and conveyancing to start with. Ironically, the supermarket chain after whose name the legislation is more commonly known, has no plans at present to provide legal services
It is important for law firms to differentiate themselves from these new providers, by offering a specialist, high quality service. We at Prince Evans Solicitors LLP have always done this and will continue to do so
At Prince Evans, whether for business or private individuals, we provide the reassurance of well-qualified solicitors who have the time to and understand the importance of getting to know the business need, or client problem. We provide plain English advice, without legal jargon. We are good communicators and are transparent as to our Terms of Business and pricing
We specialise in complex and high value legal matters, to include: business transactions; residential and commercial conveyancing; construction; property and landlord & tenant law; litigation; matrimonial and family law; wills, trusts and probate; and personal injury
Our level of service and expertise at Prince Evans cannot be matched by a national call centre
